The Double Ninth Festival is a traditional Chinese festival and also a statutory "Senior Citizens' Day" in modern times. It falls on the 9th day of the 9th lunar month (usually around October in the Gregorian calendar). Traditional customs include climbing mountains to ward off misfortunes and appreciating chrysanthemums while drinking chrysanthemum wine. Today, it focuses more on accompanying elders and expressing gratitude. As "nine" is the largest yang (positive) number in Chinese culture, the festival name—with two "nines"—not only reflects an awareness of nature but also embodies the good wishes of "respecting the elderly, honoring family ties, and praying for health and prosperity."
All the employees of Rongyou wish everyone a happy and healthy family life.
